Of the arachnid family, the tick is a voracious little creature that inhabits forests. It is 3 to 6 mm long. Brown in colour, it turns dark red when soaked in human or animal blood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adult ticks are oval and very small. They have four pairs of scratched legs. They have a globular body and thick skin. The tick has three senses: sight, hearing and smell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The larvae are 0.5 mm long and have six legs. Nymphs, on the other hand, measure 1mm.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
