Brown Lycte is a larva beetle of the brostrichid family. So it has nothing to do with ants <\/a>and wasps.<\/a> It is 2 to 8 mm long, has a very thin red body as it goes towards brown and its head is generally darker. Its thoracic part with three pairs of legs, which stand out very well.<\/p>\n

the wood-eating lycte<\/p><\/div>The adult likes to lay on new wooded. The larva causes damage to the wood. It is about 6 mm long.<\/p>\n

The lycte<\/strong> takes flight between April and mid-July. Its lifespan is at first glance one year in general.
